I will be able to throw stones onto Russell Crowe's roof, but then he would throw them back even harder!!! Life is so much better when his team makes the Rugby League Play Offs!!!

Better Late Than Never

It has been quite some time since my last update and a lot has happened in that time, including my impending marriage to my sweetheart on October 31, two weeks after Gigi arrives from LA. Getting ready for my baby has been my number one priority.

In the meantime I have been pretty busy with various projects including signings with Caroline Munro and my baby doing in person signings with Carla Laemmle, June Wilkinson, Sherilyn Fenn, Lana Wood and Kitten Natividad as well as lots of new stuff from the UK through the ODP charity and my suppliers in the USA. I will be donating some of the Carla signings to ODP to raise money for animal welfare and for our new World Vision child, Estefanny from Bolivia. After our marriage I hope to take my autograph business from a part time hobby to a fulltime business. But I still hope to find time to post addresses for everyone here who loves to write to actors.

January Updates & Sad They are too

So let me cover the good news first in celebrating the fact that Noel Neill enjoyed her 90th birthday in November because there has been plenty of sad news too since then. Over the last few months several of my signers and interviewees have gone to that silver screen in the sky including James Macarthur, Cammie King, Anne Francis and the totally lovely Ingrid Pitt. All of whom will be greatly missed. And we also lost Leslie Nielson and Kevin McCarthy too and both men were great signers and much loved by fans everywhere. During this period I also obtained interviews with great folk like Patrice Munsel, Barbara Shelley, Carla Laemmle, Coleen Gray, Margie Stewart, Sara Karloff and Michelle Lang. A rather eclectic group ranging from Michelle in her early 20s to the amazing Carla who is now 101 and whose father was born in 1859. Barbara, Coleen and Margie are also doing well too and Coleen was a pleasure to chat to leading into her 88th birthday. Not a lot to report in large signings apart from the beautiful Sandra Taylor and a small signing with Dana Hamm. Through the excellent offices of the UK charity, Our Disappearing Planet, I have also obtained some nice items from great folk like George Cole and Vera Lynn and Vera Day. Noel Neill did another lovely signing along with one I obtained indirectly with Karla Conway, a lovely 1966 PB babe.

New Signings and News

The last three months have been devoted to spending time with my fiancee while she was visiting from California in the last trip before we sort out Immigration for her to live her full time in 2011. Next week she is doing a lovely in person session with the extraordinarily lovely and extremely talented Brinke Stevens, which should be a lot of fun.

In the meantime, I have been working on signings with Barbara Eden, which went well and hopefully I will have one with Stefanie Powers before the year ends. I have also been working closely with a great charity in the UK called Our Disappearing Planet which does great work raising money to help save animals across the globe. I have been obtaining a range of great UK signings with them including the lovely Barbara Shelley and a host of actors from classic British shows like Minder, Heartbeat, The Bill and many others, while at the same time they work hard to save habitats, which support fragile ecosystems.

Speaking of fragile ecosystems, Australia goes to the polls tomorrow and either way Australians lose out with two of the worst leaders of all time, leading parties with no other agendas than to line their pockets and continue the wastage that has been killing Australia for the last ten years.

I also got to chat to the lovely Coleen Gray for some 45 minutes, which was fun and I am now getting ready to finish writing interviews with Coleen Gray, Barbara Shelley, Margie Stewart and the amazing Carla Laemmle who turns 101 this year. And with luck my lovely Gigi will get up to see her in LA soon...
